An HTML editor can be any kind of text editor you may have on hand. Notepad, WordPad, SimpleText, etc. I recommend getting one of the editors designed for the sole purpose of creating HTML documents. The best one I have found is Derekware HTML Author. It is good because it is absolutely free. I created all of the pages on this site using it. Derekware requires Windows® 95/98. If you would like some more options as to some HTML editors available on the web, visit winfiles.com. If you are a Geocities member, you can use one of the online homepage editors. They allow you to see the changes you've made immediately. Once you have the editor of your choice, you can start writing your page.
