How To Make Links
HTML Reference

Whether you just came out of my tutorial, or you can write web pages in your sleep, you will find this guide useful. I have provided examples or links to examples of each tag and its attributes where applicable. There are some uses of the <meta> and <a> tags that are seldom used and will not be discussed. Unless otherwise noted all tags are to be placed in the <body> of the document.

If you are unfamiliar with the terms "tag" or "HTML", please take a look at my HTML Tutorial.

Throughout this guide you will see a table that looks like this:

  I.E. Netscape
<html> X X

This is your guide to what browsers support what tags. For this I am basing it on Internet Explorer 4.0 and Netscape Communicator 4.x. Because HTML changes very often, I will try to update my X's as soon as possible. Check back often for the latest updates.
